Epitalon vs Epithalon: what is the difference?
In practice, none. Epitalon and Epithalon are two English transliterations of the same Russian-developed tetrapeptide, AEDG (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly); you will also see it written Epithalone or by its research name, AEDG peptide. The peer-reviewed literature uses both spellings for the identical compound (Khavinson et al., 2020; Araj et al., 2025), so epitalon or epithalon is a labeling choice, not a different molecule.
Pinealon is a separate pineal-related peptide and should not be confused with Epithalon. If a listing switches between the two spellings that alone is not a red flag; a missing Certificate of Analysis is.
